Stereo Flavors is a free, Philly-based food zine built around stories, not clicks. We cover restaurants, people, and food culture the way it actually exists here. A little messy, deeply personal, and rooted in real places and voices. We’re not chasing trends. We’re focused on making something that feels honest and lasting.
Advertising with Stereo Flavors means showing up alongside thoughtful editorial, strong photography, and a readership that actually cares about where they eat and who’s behind the food. Our distribution is local and intentional, and our audience trusts us because we don’t treat the magazine like a billboard.
If you’re a restaurant, brand, or business that values craft, community, and doing things your own way, this is probably a good fit. If you’re just looking for impressions, it might not be.

Safe Area & Spread Notes
All ads should keep important text and logos within the safe area. Full pages have a 0.25” safe margin on all sides.
For two-page spreads, please allow for the center fold. Avoid placing important text, logos, or critical details across the middle seam, as approximately 0.5” total may be lost to the gutter when folded.

PDF SETTINGS
Hi-res PDF for press: PDF/X-1a:2001 (recommended) or Press Quality All fonts embedded.
IMAGE SETTINGS
Color images: 300 DPI Monochrome images (Graphic & Art Settings): 1200 DPI Photoshop PDFs and PDFs created by Adobe PDF Writer are NOT recommended.
InDesign, Photoshop (saved as a TIFF or EPS file), or Illustrator (saved as an EPS file) are also accepted. Please convert all fonts used in art files to outlines. Native files may be sent with all screen and printer fonts and all art files used in the ad. Files created in PowerPoint, Microsoft Paint, or Word are not accepted.
IMAGES
All hi-resolution images must be a minimum of 300 DPI at 100% of final print size. Do not upsample the resolution of your image by manually changing the DPI in Photoshop. This can cause a pixilated, blurry or low-quality image.
PLEASE DO NOT USE SPOT COLORS
4-color images must be saved as CMYK. not RGB
AD SuBMISSION
Upon purchase, we will email a file request.
- Use the advertiser’s name as the file name.
- If sending native files, please package all fonts and images before zipping your files.
- Please leave room for a QR code and link to your business. If you want to use your own QR code be sure it’s a minimum size of 2×2″
